I noticed the line to starting terminus, is gone, after learning/making 1st jump. Then I continued panning away from center. It goes and goes. We do not start on fringe. My first try going away from the core was a never ending experience, I had all the warp upgrades and at the time I was still binge playing and did this for a couple days straight. I only stopped at planets to get raw materials. I did not see that there would ever be a end to it.

I then tried to go straight "up" from the galactic disk figuring I should at least see a reduction in star density after a while but nope. It seems to me this galaxy is nothing of the sort, more of a giant never ending cluster of stars that go on for what seems forever.

And just so I am not called a negative person from those fanboys out there I will once again say how much I love the look of the ships and how I wish they could be printed with a 3D printer. They all look good, even though they are all nothing but empty husks with nothing different stat wise other then the number of slots they have.

I like thenlook of ships too, but comparing upgraded ships and multitools, seems pointless, they need to compare them raw, prior to upgrades, imo. Maybe a modder will make this aspect playable for us. I really want and like wingmen, and pets. Guess none of that is in this game. I fed a ambulatory turdmaker, for hours. Never faught for me, never became my pet, just more lies, I guess. Also, I like blasting apart, freighters. Shame they do not have complete targetable parts, hitboxes, for engines, shield gen, control bridge, like in SWG JTL.

Yeah, I am going to fly away. Since I am offline, no chance of seeing another gamer anyway. I do not have upgrades to jump 1500u, yet. On a restart. Havent gone far out, yet, but out there is where the GEK FIRSTBORN, came from. Have you determined just what that Vy'keen silohuette icon is in jumppack corner? It changes to red when you burglarize boxes, containers, and wall clickies?

I never seen anything about pets, but to be honest I stopped trying to find out what else what lied about a long time ago, I just gave up on the expectations that were promised and decided to more or less quiet down, and I was one of the biggest haters to start.

I know better now about buying into games before they get reviewed, took me over 50 years of gaming to get burned so I guess I should consider myself lucky.

As far as multi player went I never wanted it in the first place so the lack of it comes only as pure relief to me, though in the beginning I was very upset you had to be shackled to GoG Galaxy for a few features, so I am going to go with most users and just wait till someone else fixes this mess of a game that HelloGames cranked out.

I use a cheat to move my tech around. I've got a default layout now I just paste in to the save after I change ships or multi-tools.

I'm still going through the main game plot/path, just taking my time having fun in completing all flora and fauna scans etc. Once i finally make it to the centre (or maybe before even) i will try to see where i was placed.

It would be great if they further improved the whole map navigation thing on that galactic map.

I really wish NMS scans would upgrade to include a rough species and sentient lifeform breakdown in the galactic scans, landing to find out, is preposterous in an warp age era. For a sci fi, the tech tree advances, have a real feel, of low, ACME brand technology advancements, at times. Do scanner upg even affect the ships onboard scanner ranges? Its not nice HG left us guessing.

Actually most of the systems on the edge of Euclid that I've found have been Korvax (including the one above and the one below).

Its strange I am trying to piss off Gek, using the Vykeen silohuette, white/red guage in bottom right corner. On a Gek world, not only when I raid their loot containers and demand units, oxides, fuel in dialogue, BEST FRIEND option 1, but also when I pick Zinc flowers, they get upset. LOL. Or that unknown anger guage goes up.

Update 11-12-2016: Bahaha! Thank you goes out to a private pm gog user. So here is whats happening with my restart, and journey outwards.

1st, it has come to my attn, the icon I thought was a vy'keen silohuette, was in fact my backpack mini icon, and the lil progress line, was not a rep for theft from that particular stars, contolling aliens, but instead simply showed, the capacity left in my exopack storage. Ha. Since I could just open that, the exopack storage and see its capacity. A Homer Simpson moment, if ever there was one. I completely mistook that icon and have been playing for 100s of hours incorrectly. Doh! Looks like a vy'keen's head, just a shadow, doesnt it? The mini backpa k icon, that turns red. I thought that meant I upset an npc somewhere nearbye. Doh! Here pack was just full.

2nd, I am progressing outwards, minisculely. No Theta drive built. I did just loot the tech, from a crashed ship cockpit. With tau, I can free explore. I do not have a number, but will soon. Can anyone tell me how to get out of Euclid. I do not want to conflict with Reds work and achievements. Thank you.

3rd, any better way to piss off aliens, than npc dialog and monument dialog? I have joined in with pirates in looting freighters, but no -rep was gained.

4th, got a 24 slot gun from krovax monument dialog, but its name is bugged. "Arc of" Guess Ill just grab anther, its got a crappy skin and bolt color, anyway. Anyway to edit a gun name in the NMS files?

5th, the mod that adds more ships, not pirates, is great to have, when teamed up with the crash locator mod. I recommend this combo, if your starting over. It has made the slow grind back up to a 48 slot vehicle, err space ship,
Worthwhile and enjoyable. There really should be a smoke billow coming from crashes.
