Well (I am on PC), I started NMS using keyboard and mouse. The usual way, because I do not like controllers very much.

BUT: seemingly Keyboard and mouse are somewhat limited in NMS (side view while flying), so I tried the already present and installed Xbox controller.

No luck: I can not find any way to tell NMS that it should "listen" to the controller instead of WASD.
Any help to make the controller "live" would be more then welcome.

An xbox 360 wired controller is tested and works for me.

Plugged it in, started the game, no configuration required.

Thank you all:

- two batteries, one near empty
- change of usb port.

What more can go possibly wrong? :)
