Hi there Explorers,
I fould a convoluted conundrum. Its been gnawing at my math nerve. How do you cope?
Why the 3 different fuel sizes? 200u, 100u, 50u plz. Hello Games explain it.
Is fuel small change, 50u, being calculated correctly?
Are the many travel reductions being applied after mission requirements or prior to mission requirements?
Is their a fencepost error, costing players additional fuel, or adding fuel?
My specific example:
Freighter Inv, 5000u fuel. 25 canisters x 200u fuel/canister
Mission requirements, after placement of 5 ships into their slots. 350u fuel is then shown
Expected change, left in Freighter Inv, 5000 minus 350 equals 4650u.
Actual Inventory, 4750u. 23-200u, 1-100u, 1-50u hmpf!
. . It is working in my favor, as long as I ask it to always deduct from 200u canisters.
