Ok after searching first thru the forums, it seems my particular game is the only one with this bug? I am on 1:60 GOG version (love GOG) and when my Freighter missions end, the log says you have been credited with XXXX amount of credits to your accout etc sometimes 2 million in one go, but NOT ONE PENNY is added to the account but the elements are added to the frighters storage etc.

Also i have competed every discovers at level 10 except the scan all animals on a planet, of which i have 1. but i just cannot trigger comunication with the space guy you are supposed to talk to to get quicksiver. on the atlas path? what am i doing wrong, i really don't want to have to start agin as i have S class everything earned the hard way etc.

Game of the decade, but far too many elements and never enough storge. Constant frustration does not = great gaming experience HELLO GAMES!

Pretty sure I was getting units from completed frigate missions but not 100% sure. No missions underway ATM, tho.

It's possible that not having scanned all creatures on at least three planets is what's holding you up with Polo and the Anomaly. I seem to recall that milestone was needed in there somewhere for interacting with them.

Spare haulers are great for extra storage. Of course, in my experience, the more room there is available then the more the temptation to hang on to "just one more slot" of something. ;-)

I just checked in on my frigate missions and had three that were awaiting debrief and verified that I received the space bucks but it is not as easy to notice. I stopped reading the reports long ago and just click to advance quickly or walk away to refill my coffee and saw the space bucks counter increasing only when the report was still scrolling. Once scrolling ends the counter disappears and only after I click to end the mission does the pop up report that I received space bucks.

You already have dashiichi's suggestion about the getting to the milestones. Completing the fauna milestones always seems to be the last one that most people finish and one needs to complete certain milestones to advance to receiving certain blueprints, interactions, etc. I recall that getting to levels 7 and 10 were also critical. Tried looking in the gamepedia wiki about this but that information is not present.
Ok Thanks Guys, Really appreciate the support, i was hoping completing one out of ten "all creatures on one planet" would trigger Polo, but no, hence the post.

Also i am definatly not getting ANY Frieghter credits. the Total just jiggles about a bit but no increse during or after Log finishes?

Scanning creatures is a real ballache and boring, worst of all it took me 2 full days of play (about 12 hours!) to find the last creature 9 out of 9 etc SOo really not relishing this task at all. is it possible to put someone elses save game into a save folder as in other games?

Thanks again for the replies Guys

For this, I found I had much better success if I did it on planets with 6 or less creatures. So land on a planet, scan a critter, look to see how many you have to find there. If more than 6, move on. I also wouldn't be too worried about completing it ASAP, just explore and do it as you go. Worked well for me. It can definitely be a frustrating process, though, regardless.

Dawn and dusk are good times to be especially observant.

Stop and scan every time you "run out of breath." Sky and underfoot, too.

If there's water there will almost always be at least one and sometimes up to three (two herbivores and a carnivore) in the water.

Pick a direction keep walking. Collect knowledge stones, maybe a little mining. Watch for rare things like the floating crystals and whatever they're called that have the same stuff but look like puffballs on the ground.

Upgrade your analysis visor and scan everything. Decent "cash" return just from scanning plants.

Keep a save-point handy and do a hard save after each creature if you're on a planet where it has been really tough to find them.

Check mountain tops and valleys. Caves, too. Sometimes "cave" creatures will spawn on cave-style biomes in the open (where you see cave marrow growing) but not always.

It can be very satisfying to find all creatures on a planet with both extreme weather and hostile sentinels but you get the same credit for completing the list on a paradise planet with passive sentinels. Not the same rush, tho. ;-)
ok guys thanks all golden info, will be put to good use. stll no polo at time of writing though? lol
OK regarding the Frighter money credits. MT BAD> The Credit numbers scroll real fast the instant you click on Debrief Commander DUUUR. In my defense Hello games should be doing that at end of briefing and a good tinkling sound to Confim the trasaction. The way it is now just lead to confusion.

Still no polo.

Desired Abilites: wishlist for hello games.
Ability to sell all or any starship in a new Starship showroom located under the current upper decks of all space stations.

Ability to "FIX" all Frigates from the Command room onboard the frighter (drones sent ou t to do the job) just had 4 friggin frigates come back damaged, far too much running around boring as hell and pointless.

Ability to find polo anytime anywhere.

Ability to trasfer ALL upgrade done from old ship to new!

Ability to Kill all senitnals at some point on any planet and claim and name it, Sentinal free.

Ablity to have a Companion that watches your back and fights sentinals with you.

Ability to attach weapons to your ship and see them

Ability to build your own ship from custom parts, Purchased seperatly (see showroom for details)

Ability to jetpack/fly between Frigates and no die falling thru the gaps in the Frieghter!

Ability to adopt and use some creatures and ride on the (makeshift Terrain explorers (aka Horses etc)

Ability to contact hello direct with all these ideas.

LOL

Hello Games apparently doesn't read or post here. They post notes for updates and patches on Steam forums but GOG purchasers are not worthy. In fact, the No Man's Sky home page excludes GOG in the Buy Now which shows that they prefer to divert sales to Steam.

You can submit a support request to https://hellogames.zendesk.com/hc/en-us but responses are extremely rare. Actually rare gives them too much credit, you have better odds winning El Gordo (the Spanish lottery) than getting a response other than anything that Zendesk automatically generates.
Yeah figures. but i will be eterally gratfull to GOG form giving us an alternative to the Evil empire and hatfull steam. I have hted thir way of doing business from the get go. No doubt hello games are "Warned off" from being too friedly with true gamers and especially modders etc? Anything that might impact on thir Hatefull " Business model"

GOG is as good as it gets though when it comes to Supporting gamers (see current 10 year aniversary video). Long live GOG Death to Steam!

LOL
p/s thanks for the link

'Anomaly Detected' is what you seek, purple blip in space, it'll show up in every star system, at some point. By doing nothing, no scanning, no collections, nothing.. Lootering in spaceports, is also a good way to pass the time, until it appears. It now has three parking spaces. The quicksilver vendor is behind the middle platform, right platform has a multitool variant. Best of luck. I have found scanning critters on waterless toxic planets easiest, can always spot them, they got the hopping shrooms and zero predators.
