Yes you can, it's in the game options, it's called Vignette. Turn it off.

It turns out that in the new release the Vignette option has disappeared from the menu. You would need to go in the mxml files in the SETTINGS folder to activate / deactivate it.

Thank you I did not see any options in the XML file for Vignette I will check again.

Edit I found it and put it to false I will give that a try thank you.

The disappeared option is fixed in the experimental branch update 10/04

Yeah, do your eyes the favor and turn it off, the outside world is so much better without it :)
