I thought i could finish the expedition tonight but nope.

" I am now on the 5th stage of the expedition and a problem has arisen.

Specifically, the bug appeared at the “Dream about a dream” stage. For some reason, the journal and message in the quest require me to select the “Meeting Place 4” stage (this stage has already been completed, which means that I can no longer select it and complete it). Because of this, neither in the 4th stage system nor in the 5th stage system the game does not respond to my impulse jumps.

so over on steam there is an experimental branch that fixes this bug.

WE ALL ON GOG, well i have no idea how long we have to wait....

i just have those two pulse engine quests left and i can finish this thing, what bummer!

is the latest patch available on galaxy?
i have limited data on my mobile so downloading the whole game over and over is not an option

A simple way to check is to go to the top of this page then select the drop down with your name the select Games and then select the drop-down in the No Man's Sky and the latest version available to GOG users can be seen. Right now, GOG is only at 4.70 and the current version available to the preferred PC platform is 4.71.1.

part of the problem is that UK and Poland are far enough apart that they are not in the same time zone so there is an additional issue if updates are issued too late in the business day in Poland.

well because theirs a expedition i used galaxy

wow what a major disaster that was

get a 125gb pay as you go top up for £30 (£20 gets you 50 gig which wasn't enough data for a month)

load up Galaxy
it downloads no mans sky (14 gig or so ) start playing it , my aunt comes round so i stop to have a chat
then Galaxy decides to start downloading fallout 4 (which i already have the offline version of ) nearly all 50 gig of it
so i cancel it and witcher 3
start playing nms again then 2 hours later pause playing , galaxy starts downloading it again even though i stopped it
so i contact support who tell me how to prevent Galaxy from auto updating

In order to disable auto updates:

> launch your GOG GALAXY app,

> click the cogwheel icon in the upper left corner and select "Settings",

> open the "Game features" tab,

> uncheck the box "Auto-update games".

so i did the above, and yep it started downloading again , so to temp solve this i have set it to limit the downloads to 1kb/s
i contacted support and they want the Galaxy log files

as of this message no mans sky is still at 4.70

As of this message GOG shows the currently available version to be 4.71.1.

Note that there are some 3xpermimental fixes still awaiting release so there will be more patches for GOG.
