I swear the draw distance is much worse. I don't remember it being this bad before Beyond. Is it just me?

It does seem like things are popping or fading in more than before. I also have render issues with water as I'm approaching a planet - it appears as a flat single color square behind the clouds before resolving to the correct shape for the landscape and finally as textured as I get close to landing. Also the planetary atmosphere renders in front of some asteroids and inside the landing bay of my freighter. That particular error was fixed in the Vulkan 1.77 release, but reappeared with Beyond and remains as of ver 2.11.

I've always had that and it used to be worse. I was refering to exploring the surface of planets. Things like grass, rocks, plants, etc.

Yes, I also have the pop-ins on the planet with trees, rocks, plants, creatures, etc.
From Patch 206.b change log: Reduce render memory usage to improve stability in high watermark situations.

Yes, it's way worse. My character can actually outrun the pop-in of the grass and rocks, and when flying over a frozen planet, the trees look like one of those fast-motion vignettes of an artist drawing terrain. The pop-in is so incredibly bad it's completely distracting. Thankfully it's only this bad on frozen planets, and I don't like them anyway. But it's there to a degree on other planets as well, but I can cope with it. I wish there were a setting in the game to adjust that, but if there is, I've not found or heard of it.
