Anyone else notice this? Try and go back to your first planet you started on and see if you can see any of your discoveries from there. The only thing that is saved is the planet name. Nothing else is there. What's the point of naming anything if it just gets deleted once you progress further?

Interesting. I haven`t tried going back to my starting planet (it`s almost impossible to find your way back if you venture far). I was wondering how a game like this would save every discovery of every planet that you discover. There are so many that surely it`s impossible. The game is huge.

However, I would`ve thought they`d have a limit and at the very least save your starting planet. Saving nothing except the name is... disappointing if true.

You don't even need to go back to your planet. Just hit ESC and look at the record of your starting planet. If you've travelled to over 20 systems all your discoveries and waypoints will be gone.
