Just in case do you have any mods running? Asking because one of the issues in Experimental that they corrected was to "Reset the disable mods file." Some players tend to forget this and since this is in the Experimental from last Friday it appears that some may have expected the mods to have been disabled in 2.60 and some in other forums have reported that they had forgotten to disable mods but after doing so the problem went away.

Although running Experimental I rarely use mods and none have been installed in a long time so I have not experienced any of the crashes that all others supposedly are being hit with.

I get this too, and I made a completely fresh install, means I renamed the old install folder as I smelled this isn't going to work and also renamed the user files. So with the fresh install, it's like I never had nms before. No mods, no previous settings, no old saves.

Nope, fresh install. I also tried two different SSD's and also renamed the save game folder.

See this topic ..

and this topic ..

The desolation update 2.60 introduced this issue, and is present in the current Offline Installers.

The problem has been fixed in the Experimental beta version of the game which Hellogames produced on Friday night, we just need to wait until they update the Offline Manual Installers again.
See also this post (and the following post) https://www.gog.com/forum/no_mans_sky/desolation_update/post11

I thought they would have uploaded a fix for this on Monday for GOG to make the Offline installers and get us GOG players back in the loop, but they have done two more updates to the Experimental branch since, see this topic ..

So sometime this week hopefully

new update is out on GOG Galaxy that fixes the crash
same here, (62141_0x165A597_) it's so annoying, loading up a save is a hit or miss and I get a lot of crashes lately

my Galaxy client is up to date doesn't seem to make a difference atm

what i did was right clicked on No Man's Sky and had Galaxy check for updates. it then downloaded the new update 62432.

I had this just some hours ago. I deleted my temp fiels and folders, deleted the cache files in the savegame folder and al went ok after that.
