What options are there?

Some people claim there is mouse acceleration.
What about gamepad support?
Joystick? Hotas?

Looks like keyboard/mouse and game controller (like Xbox controller). From what I've read, joystick and HOTAS are generally no-gos. I haven't left my first planet yet, but so far flying is not very involved, it is more like a first person shooter hang glider or something. So even though my Tflight X remains unplugged, I'm not missing it as the game is (though I would love if the game had an option for more involved, but not overly-involved, flight controls)

Do you experience mouse lag?

I'm using keyboard/mouse.

The mouse at max sensitivity is slow, especially panning left to right. I fortunately have a gaming mouse with profile settings and the ability to increase DPI, so I just created a higher DPI setting and use that in game. That generally addresses my problems. Turning still feels a little weird, but is at least fine with the higher DPI. Mouse movement speed is always subjective, so some people will have no problem with the in-game tuning options.

I have also been able to use Joy2Key to map my flight stick in the game.
WOrks great.

Runs also great with DS4 Controller out of the box and shows the right symbols :-)
