Has No Man's Sky left the Top 20 chart, overnight it seems, or has GOG pulled it?

I would be shocked if there was so many refunds it took it out of the charts totally. Especially when you look at some of the titles in the second half of the chart.

I am having a great time with the game, and on Steam for every 2 negatives reviews there is a positive review. That's not a sigh that NMS should have gone from No1. to not in the chart at all!.
Every time I talk about NMS at work the guys say "I heard it was really bad and everyone got refunds". I get so tired of telling them that many of us have had zero issues and really enjoy the game.

I said it before and I'll say it again, I really think gamers are our own worst enemy. Just because someone has trouble running a game on their PC or they don't enjoy a particular play style does not make it a bad game.

Well I do hope the Dev don`t pull a wobbly and quit. I hope not because if they try blaming the people who wanted refunds i will not let them get away with that excuse. I want to see them have the strength to complete what they started and I`m pretty sure they got a lot more cash out of it than they expected, even with the refunds.

Yep, the majority of people I talk to just parrot, "Oh I heard it sucks." I give a balanced response, which is basically pointless because they've made up their minds. Even my friends just stay quiet for a bit then move on to a different topic.
Well, as I say, on Steam reviews are "mixed", and while if it had dropped out of the chart slowly over a few weeks I would have understood because of all the false negatively, but one minute it was No.1 then the next minute is was out of the chart. With old titles like Two Worlds II and World of Goo, I think this dropping out of the chart was something other than sales and refunds.

So are you saying that Steam artificially bumped it up high? Like they made some kind of deal to make NMS look successful so people would buy it, then dropped it after the truth couldn`t be hidden any more?

If that`s the case, it`s a good thing I NEVER follow Steam sales or any other kind of sales because I play what I like, not what sales tells me I `should` like.

Sorry to confuse. I meant how it dropped out of the GOG CHART seemingly overnight. Steam have no control over reviews and given that "mixed" means mixture of good and bad, then I assumed we would have the same mixture on GOG, so why would it drop out of the GOG charts so quickly? I mean as of 28th August 2016 No Man's Sky was still No.2 on Steam's sales chart. This tells me there is a story to be told about No Man's Sky and GOG. I don't believe it could go from No.1 to out of the top 20 so quickly unless there is something behind it.

I see.
