So, I've tested a bit and lots of stuff has changed. There are some nice changes, for example the build menu and the new towns seem nice. But I still recommend to either wait or at least make a backup of your save games (C:\Users\$USERNAME$\AppData\Roaming\HelloGames\NMS\) so you can revert if necessary.

What I found so far:
- Bases and outpost hovering midair, sometimes set on ground later, sometimes not at all.
- Base parts no longer where expected. Some walls where misplaced and halfway in other structures
- Cubic rooms with ladders changed to not have floors in between, ladders now on the inside wall, meaning if they faced the opposite wall, you now have to use thrusters to get off the ladder without falling.
- On switching multitools, newly installed upgrades are missing (this happened after a while into the new game, at first everything was okay)
- Broken secondary ships can no longer be summoned or accessed anyhow. (behavior like 2018)

Other than that, still no planetary maps, no galactic map access outside space and you know, everything else that would be nice.

So long, Travelers
I having issues where my settlement won't appear. If I save via exiting my ship and reload later, the settlement is gone. The citizens are still wandering around, and the icon for my office is there, but no buildings or walk-meshes. I can walk anywhere. Also citizens are often floating in mid air until they stand up, then they drop to the ground. I build a save node as well as a rover exovehicle pad next to my office. They are still there.

If I warp out to another system via ship or space station portal, it loads properly.
It's good that new patches are coming out daily, but still, there are plenty of broken things (the game isn't showing my settlement's location icon, for example, so I can't find it). Maybe it should have spent more time in beta testing before release.
I can confirm that bses can bug out, especially if yours are located on islands. I had my base computer in mid-air as well as my buildings. When I teleport to that base I land underwater. Other of my bases have suffered because of terrain changes.
Also it seems that the wiring system is not invisible any longer, you need to play a bit with this wiring-hiding device, at some point I get the wires invisible again.

Also, in build menu, the environmental shield is now draining in camera build mode. I hope thats just a bug and not a new feature. I really liked the time out when building/trying stuff out on extreme planets
Had an odd loop bug when building the space port. After handing in 5 metal plates and waiting for 60 min, I was requested to hand in 3 Aronium. After waiting (in Settlement) for the 60 min timer, the port wasn't finished but asked to hand in another 3 Aronium. and resetted build time to 60 minutes. So I did this and started some some trade runs and came back to the settlement a few minutes before the end of the 60 minutes, just to find that I was supposed to hand in another 3 Aronium.

[edited out]

This bug-ridden is worse than any other Update before. Quality assurance (QA) seems to undervalued.

It looks like the problem is due to a bug in the timer. While in the settlement, the timer for construction is different to the timer when off-world (see attachment, the images are 2 minutes apart). While the off-world timer show the true end of construction circle (and triggers at the end either finished or the next stage), the on-world timer just give another option to hand in the same resources over and over again, without progress. So best thing to do while construction: Stay away from your settlement until this is fixed (beside the -kzzkt- 16 //16 // -kzzkt- other bugs)

With the next patch (experimental on Steam 09/11 and 10/11, and maybe also here on GOG ?), most of the settlement bugs should be solved, espectially the stucked timer for building events and the wrong debt counter. In essence your settlement should not be in total halt anymore with nothing to do. A teleporter has also be added to settlements, very handy.
In my game with 364_1 I could see these bugs when reloading game, the event counters have reset and some actions needed to be done twice, forgetting that it has already been done. I hope the regular patch comes out soon.I

Workaround for the timer:
Until the new patch is out, the workaround is to make a save point or beacon save just before you quit the game, After restaring the game, reload this save and the timer should be correct. Or: Be at your settlement when you quit game and restarting game should also have a correct timer.
