There is a bug that prevents buying a new freighter, when attempting to exchange for a new freighter I get a quit to desktop prompt (that can't be pressed). As I understand it, the bug has been fixed on the steam version of the game. When can we expect an update on gog?

Yeah, I'd like an ETA on the patch as well. I spent 3 hours grinding for a S class freighter just to find out the 4.46 update made it impossible for me to buy, that was rather aggravating!

Hello Games does not post plans or schedules for patches or what will be included in those patches.

Additionally, HG has only posted in this forum a couple of times and those were back in initial release. To communicate with HG you need to submit a support request. They do not reply other than an automated message generated by ZenDesk.

Hello Games has already released (12/13/23) the patch. My question and I believe the OP's was " When is GOG going to make this available to us?"

This has not been released to what they call "Main" yet. Only available on 3xperimental which GOG users are no longer allowed to participate in. It may take a day, multiple days and, just recently, several weeks before all users will receive a patch.

Have read that a couple of consoles also are blocked from 3xperimental although that may be due to policies concerning updates on those platforms.

The patch went live on steam yesterday. I can't post a link on this forum but you can see the patch (4.47) on Hello Games main site under release log.

Hope they update it on gog soon.

The patch is live now on gog version. Can confirm it works, I was able to buy a new freighter with no problems.

Whoa that indeed sucks big time.

I really hate farming for S class freighters. It can be over after 3 tries of course. But nothing stops the game from requiring 300+ tries instead.
