I have a Cadmium drive now, which I gather means I can jump to Red Stellar Bodies. How do I know if I'm jumping to a Red star or any other star? How do I know if it's actually useful?

In the galaxy map the star will be colored red? The system's with red stars are M-class systems.
The progression goes Red to Green to Blue systems (M-class - E-class - O/B-class)
