So, I am started a new game after release of Beyond update, and now have some questions:
1. During the starting/tutorial quests I got blueprint only for storage container #0. Where and how can I get another 9 now?
2. Hired NPC-specialists (base overseer, farmer, etc) (and their quest lines, also) are completely obsolete and replaced by NPCs@Nexus?

Those BPs are the fisrt ones awarded by the Overseer's quest line. He'll send you to an abandoned building where you get data and he gives you the BPs for those nine containers when you return the data to him.

Pretty much. I guess they're now just an alternative to get the blueprints if the player wants to do those quests.

Having said that, I've not seen any other way to get the BPs for containers 1 to 9 other than getting the Overseer and doing the first step in his quest chain.

As well, I've not seen the blueprints for the Microprocessor, Oxygen Harvester, Automated Mining Unit, and Atmosphere Harvesters in the Nexus. It's possible that I may have missed them, but it appears you can only get them by doing the Scientist quest and the Base Computer Archives quest (for the Oxygen Harvester). Again, though, I may have missed them when browsing the BPs in the Nexus.

Looks like my previous re-start in NMS was too long ago, and staring quests are well forgotten.
Playing NMS next evening after starting this topic, Overseer's quest line got started for me out of the blue (or maybe after next round of Base Computer Archives with gift of appearance modifier BP?).
Strangely, there are no entries for storage containers 1 to 9 in in-game item and technology catalogue.

So , these NPCs and their quests still exists in-game, and are sources of some BPs as quests' rewards, for some BPs - ONLY source, for some - not. And looks like least valuable one currently - Farmer, as most (or all) of his blueprints are aviable @Nexus.
