The milestone "Uncharted" asks the player to discover 8 systems, yet even as my statistics screen says I've travelled to 11 systems the milestone's progress still stays at 0. I'm sure this is a glitch because if you're supposed to visit specific types of systems, the log guide should point to that and not just guide you on using the starmap.

I've reported this problem to Hello Games' Zendesk and yet it still persists after two patches they've released.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

These have to be systems that were not previously discovered by someone else but you cannot tell in advance which systems are or are not previously discovered by someone else.

The best way to get around this is to play while disconnected from the Internet and then go to eight systems that you have not previously been to.

Some other alternatives are to use black holes or multiple jumps to get further away from the beaten path and then you should encounter systems that are not previously discovered.

Good Luck

EDIT: This works best if you disconnect from the Internet before launching the game. After you complete the milestone you can reconnect to the Internet to play.

Thanks. Disconnecting worked, but honestly that milestone could do without that requirement that systems must be undiscovered by other players.

You are completely correct, but this type of milestone has appeared in several previous expeditions.
