I honestky don't mind if there a two day wait between the two sellers. If it had been more than a week though, I'd choose Steam.

I'm okay with the 12th (or 13th as it will inevitably be given the time zone difference for me). That's no biggie. I wish they could be a little more transparent about these things sooner though. Ambiguity is a great deal more annoying to me than waiting a few more days when it's a known quantity.

The devs confirmed the 12th of August as official release date for all PC outlets via Twitter, and Steam has updated their page to reflect this as well.

A note to the blues---thanks for changing the release date here early enough that your customers had a chance to absorb the information and adjust any plans accordingly, instead of getting it thrown at us quite so last-minute.

I asked GOG support and they told me this:
"GOG release is planned at the same time as all other PC services, so on 12th, 6PM GMT."

Now we know :)

Here in Australia the release is the 13th according to the countdown timer.

Yeah if they are going to advetise the 12th, they should atleast state which timezone they are going by.
Or how hard would it be to adjust there storefront for each region. They happily show my purchase price in Australian dollars, so atleast show the dates in our timezone too
