The holiday is today, so why didn't they release the update yesterday when it came out?

I did a "check for updates" on NMS, and nothing. So, I did a verify/repair and now it is downloading the update. It's 14.5gb for me.

I did the same check, and now it is downloading a update of 4.52GB size.

I just Checked for Update and it's live! 4.52GB

Sigh.

Only time theres ever a discussion in this forum: because GoG is slower than Steam.

Sigh.

Well, rejoice, GoG has the update !

P.s.: Now heres interesting: There is a full install, sure.

But not a patch from the previous version.

Some very bad bugs in this - need the patches they are testing on steam users as soon as possible ;/

Need the offline patch 4.65 to 4.70 please .. not just the full 4.70 installers

Its possible though that they changed so much this time that a patch would be just as large as the whole game, so there wouldnt be a patch.

I mean some of these patches in the past have already been half as large as the game if not larger.

Or a patch to the current version.

Patches to the updates are a different beast and GOG can be a day, days and weeks behind and some have even been skipped.

Part, but not all, of this often has been that Hello Games releases updates and patches near or after the close of the business day in Poland (where GOG is located) and sometimes national holidays.

Well the new Adrift 4.71.1 version is now up, but still no patch from Orbitals 4.65 to Adrift 4.70

Did you submit a ticket to GOG? It sometimes takes a while for a response.

It's available now. I submitted a support ticket two weeks ago, and was losing hope for a positive outcome but it seems they finally found the patch for us!
