Found this today, there was no way to interact with it, but it looks just like the portals in the trailer. Anyone get one to work?

I was just reading the steam forums, appearantly there is one system
which has a portal and it works. It was confirmed by someone, but
good luck trying to find that one among the bazillion systems.

Just yet another promised feature that was never delivered by to the constant false advertising of the game.

Can you please upload your save file for let me try bruteforce it ?

I think it might have to do with a certain inventory item(s) you have for the portal to work. That is one opinion that I have heard.

That's not an opinion, it's a guess.
Until it's actually solved, it's all guesswork.

Hello Games have said that they are in, but that it's a puzzle.
I'm not feeling very trusting, though.

I'm just stating the other side because a lot of people are flat out saying the portals are not implemented and neither are confirmed.

To be fair, there have been cases where accusations were made that something was not in the game when they are.

The problem is that the game is so big that it takes a LONG time to prove a lot of the stuff. I`ve seen a portal, that never worked, now I have to carry around random stuff to try and see if it activates when I find another one. NOTHING in the game gives you any clue as to what you need.

In a game with a quintillion planets that`s like looking for a needle in a haystack. Very hard to confirm the truth of it.

I suspect the Head Dev knows this and it`s why he indicated you could meet eachother and couldn`t see what you looked like unless you did, because he didn`t think anyone would. When two people actually did, they didn`t see anything because I believe there`s no Player model to be seen.

It was a lie hoping that no one would actually meet.

Well here's hoping it is a puzzle and someone figues it out. It was quite a wonder to behold when I found it that it would be a shame that it was just eye candy. I truly have a feeling this game is far from done yet development wise, I hope we who have stuck with it are rewarded with some more surprises.

Can you send me your save file and tell me where the portal is? Or maybe just the planet? If we are sharing the work, we can found the solution faster (if a solution exist).

Honestly, that was several systems and 2 black holes back. And it did not show up with a marker, I found it completely by accident so there is no telling where it was. Not sure what my save file would do...or if that is something I should share...what are the ramification of sharing a save file? Do you now play as my save game/character and have all my discoveries? Not sure about that...

I play offline, it's not a problem. I just want try bruteforce the portal. I finished the game, i have all (AtlasV3, and all relics and stones) and im not able to found a portal. But if it's too late... I hope someone will come with a save file in the good place.
