Hello. Not really sure what I'm looking for. My farmer want me to find some ancient settlement to find albumen pearl seed fragments, and he supposedly marks the ruins on my map. well, I'm not sure what to look for, I step out side and I don't see any thing on my planet. I went into space and didn't see any thing. do I have to go to other systems? and what is the marker? ruins, manufacturing base? I really hope its not some bug or the like. any help would be great. Thanks.

Serren's reply pretty much covers what I've seen as the consensus of the work-aounds for this problem. The "move the farmer to your freighter" solution is probably the best bet; you can move him/her/it back to your base after you get the pearl seeds.

If you're still pre-freighter, be aware that the freighters you find after you've helped fighting off a pirate raid are generally less expensive than comparable prices for the freighters that are just hanging around the solar systems.
