The full version has the tendency to "clog up" the save sync. Galaxy tells me, that the filespace limit is reached. Which is a bit laughable, since all saves are not even 10KB.

I then start a game, delete all saves while the game is running to empty the cloud storage, then end the game to create new saves. All is well, cloud sync works.

After reaching the Spore Pits cloud sync fails again. I repeated this three times. Cloud sync fails when i reach the Spore Pits.

I can play along normally after that, no problem with the game progression, but i have to do without cloud sync.

That's really strange. I'll check the cloud settings, but it seems like this might be a problem outside of the game. Is your disk close to being full?

Can you tell me what the exact error message is, or show me a screenshot so I can google it?

I contacted GOG support for more information.

I have enough space on my drive, this isnt the problem. Other games i start via Galaxy are syncing fine.

Attached is a screenshot of the error message:

"User data files on this computer exceed GOG Galaxy Cloud storage quota for this game. Launch the game and remove some older saves data"

I am using this Galaxy version: 2.0.47 Preview from March 29.

Edit: And on a positive note ... this game rocks, having so much fun :)

I had the same error some days ago but it seems to be gone now. Cloud sync worked fine again for me the last time I played the game for a few hours,
I'm still waiting for GOG support to respond.
Here's the GOG answer:
Could you ask the user to do a backup of the save files? We would purge the cloud, this should help with the issue.
Additionally, please share with me his email address that is assigned to his GOG account. This is necessary for the purge.

Saves are backed up. Please, let them purge away! :)

I tried to send you a message with my account details, but you have set your GOG profile to private.

The reset is done. Here's what GOG support had to say:
"Could you also ask him to check the version of the GOG GALAXY app that he is using?
If he has 2.0.47.202 Beta then please ask him to go back to 2.0.46.133 Beta."

Superb, thank you very much! I will revert and report back.

Edit: Reverted back, cleared the local savegame folder, started the game, played a bit (way past the Spore Pits), quit and sync went as expected.

Thank you, best support ever :)
