Greetings,
I started the OC(lvl12) and SoU(lvl10) with a Sorcerer.
My grief is that i get "one-shot" more often than I could avoid. Before you advise defensive potions, magics and the like. I come from years of SOLO Baldur's Gate gaming. I am not very familiar with the 3rd edition rule set but I do notice the impact in how a Sorcerer does initially. I reload (on average) every five minutes. "Boss" fights distort this average to a MINIMUM of once every minute.
Not being able to send your creatures ahead of you as "fodder" is a ridiculous non-ability of this game engine and a severe oversight in my personal opinion.
My inquiries:
How do you cope, playing a single class Wizard/Sorcerer?
Is the summon/henchman only being able to follow you a problem for you, playing a Wizard/Sorcerer?
thank you
