Hello, you almighty gamers,

I had NWN2 complete edition for quite some time now in my GoG library and finally I got to play it.

When I launch the game there is a window I can't click on that ask whether I want to instal Direct Play. I hit Alt+f4 and it goes away with the game starting normally in low resolution--720 or so. When I try to put the resolution to 1080 the game crashed, then I tried doing it again and screen went black with the mouse cursor blinking rapidly.

I am on windows 10 on an MSI gaming laptop--gt 83vr 6rf tital sli 1080.

Think anything can be done?

Get the Enhanced Edition. It works perfectly right out of the box. The GoG version has had resolution and crash issues for me just like your issue, on my past three computers. It is very unstable.

I initially had crashes when I tried to adjust the resolution. I am also having regular crashes when playing, which requires me to restart the computer. If anyone has a fix for this I would be very pleased to see it.
