How do I make a red dragon breastplate? killed the dragon on the mtn, and got its scales but the crafting recipe for breastplates says it needs 3 metal ignots does that mean scales + 3 iron ignots or smthn?

Hides count as the "ingots", even though they're technically not. So it's as simple as using 3 hides with a breastplate mold. And you'll need 28 Craft Armor skill. I think it's that simple, at least.

But that is not possible, there is only 1 red dragon hide in the game so how am I supposed to get 3 hides? :(
Oh found out there is 2 you can buy from two different merchants, sadly past that part of the game already, ow well. :)
