Last time I played NWN was 4 years ago and today I decided to install the GOG version in my old PC just for the sake of remembering it. However I had a couple of problems (maybe due to hardware reasons, but I am not exactly sure) so I want to ask if anyone else experienced this as well?

1) The first problem occured while creating a character - I decided to go with a dwarf fighter this time around. In the section where you decide the characters facial features, body type, skin colour and clothes, while trying to change the skin color I found out that after clicking once on the skin icon, the game changed my dwarf's color to a silver-like (he looked exactly like a dwarfed Silver Surfer :-P) and I was not able to change it back - the game would not recognize my "clicks" anymore and though not frozen it just wouldn't let me do anything, so I went with ctrl+alt+del. Definitely a hardware problem, as about two months ago I degraded my PC and re-used my 64mb graphics card because my 128mb one blew up. I also saw slight lagging while playing, so I know that's the case. Oh well, I'll replay the game once I save enough to buy a monstrous PC.

2) The second problem however was somewhat weirder. While trying to save (I started the game by rebuilding a character and not touching the skin colour section) the game wouldn't let me name my save file with letters - instead it only allowed me to use numbers.

I was wondering if I should just re-download the game, even though I am not burning to replay it, I have others right now. Any help or thoughts on the problems however, will be appreciated.

Odd. I think the first step is to try reinstalling the game or running the Critical Rebuild patch.
