I got my cd key from gog.com, switched out the defualt key, and then tried to use the'kingmakersetup' But it crashes 1/3'd the way though the installation. Ive been online searching though topics for the past six ours or so and have not found anything that helps. I keep getting restricted when i try to enter rooms because people are using the default key. Can anyone help?

Does the main game work?
Is it installed somewhere else than the default "programs folder"? Should be.
Are you running the installer as administrator?

So far the main game works alright. It was originally installed in the defualt programs folder, but after the kingmaker not installing right (during the 6 hours I was looking for an answer) I came up on a post that said install the game into a different folder. So i uninstalled the game and installed it in my downloads folder. kingmaker is still not installing correctly. Stops at the same spot. And yes, I am running kingmaker as admin

Dunno then. Except maybe try redownloading the premium modules reinstalled in case there was a hitch.
But you probably tried that already as well?

yea, already did that :\ I havent had any issues playing online since yesterday though. but with my luck something will happen X.X

Have you contacted GOG support about this?
