Wasn't there a big update about a week ago plus a DLC release, I see neither here ?
Since midweek, the GOG version of NWN EE is now up-to-date on Galaxy and offline installers with v80.8193.9 (in-game 79.8193.9, but that's just a typo/oversight).

The new DLC is here, too.

Are you saying I need to reinstall NWN EE in order to play Furiae? As it stands, The DLC keeps telling me a patch is needed and the only patch on Gog is an old one.

I didn't say that, you did. But yeah, sounds like it then. And I don't like it either. Unfortunately GOG doesn't tend to offer offline patches anymore, the last one for NWN:EE is more than outdated, and they often just re-upload new installers for other games, too, not just NWN. I had to re-download 40+ GB for the most current version of Divinity: Original Sin 2. :(

The only good news in this case is that uninstalling and re-installing NWN:EE shouldn't mess with your custom files and configurations, as those are safely stored in the Documents folder now and won't get deleted along with the main game.

Hate to say it, but I think I may be dropping out of GOG and simply going directly to the studio that produces the game. I tried reinstalling and it definitely didn't act like the usual install (telling me some BS that it had to be in the same "folder" as before...I'm I DOS 2.O veteran, an ex-Electronic Games editor, an ex-PC Magazine freelancer, and Gawd knows how many other magazines and other gigs where I've programmed)
I started to say more, but I've drunk too much and my brother isn't doing all that well with Covid. Any rate,'I'll wait a few more weeks for the support to answer my request for help....and if they say Galaxy...I'm out of here

In the case of NWN EE, I kind of regret buying it on GOG, too (but on the other stores you will definitely require a client).

Anyway, all the best to your brother!
