I have searched online trying to find an answer with no success.

The final scene has played out and the portal the character is supposed to enter to advance the story to Chapter 2 has appeared. I have tried running the character through, walking through, standing in it using TAB to interact, reloaded the autosave.

Any suggestions on how to resolve it?

Left click on the portal with the mouse?

Left-clicking did not work.

I ended up saving (exporting) my character and then opening up the settings .tml file and editing to open all chapters. From there I was able to continue the story but starting a new game in Chapter 2 with my ported character.

Not how I would have preferred, but it did resolve the glitch.
