Every time I tried to play the game. I'll get a black screen with my mouse with a blue circle. It can take up to 5 minutes to 12 hours to get to the title screen of the game. Afterwards, the game runs fine. Is, there anything I can do or suggestions. Here are my PC Specs. I also have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both gog galaxy and Neverwinter Nights 2

Very strange behavior indeed. Have you ever tried setting the game to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP?

I had this problem and I think it was solved by reinstalling visual c ++ redistributables from 2005.
Other than that, I had to set it for XP sp2 mode in compatibility settings.

I have tried downloading the visual c ++ redistributable from 2005 and setting the game in compatibility to xp service pack 2. It still takes 20 minutes or so to get to the main menu. While, the screen is black. I can hear the computer trying to boot it up 2 or three times before it actually boots it up.
