I have searched the internet forums, the FAQs, the tweak guides, and... Nothing.

I have played NWN fine. Flawlessly at 1080p with no issue at all. So now that the adventure has ended I have moved on to NWN 2. It started up fine, I checked everything for beastly graphics options and started the game. Done. Then I realized, I did not set the resolution to 1080p, so I did. As soon as I hit "Apply Changes" it goes black and starts flickering. Okay, no biggie, I will check the ini file and see what I can do there. Nothing. So I hit the internet for all of the above resources. Everything mentioned, I have tried. Why can I NOT play NWN 2 on a Core i7 4771 backed with 16GB DDR 2400 RAM and an Nvidia GeForce 770X? Seriously?! I have tried it all, but still, I am stuck at 1024 x 768 resolution. Heck to the no!

Surely I have missed something. Please, where do I turn for help? What have I missed? What must I do to resolve this low-resolution debacle?

In dire need of 1080p so that the adventure can continue,

Did you set the frequency to 60 Hz (or whichever is default for your screen) ?

This one under Display Options:?

RefreshRate=60

I have an ASUS monitor I have never had a problem with. I am not sure if 60Hz is the default. Are there other values for this I should attempt?

Edit: I tried 59 and 50 with no success. 60 is the highest this monitor supports.

Just ran into this issue myself. Found another thread with the answer. Turn off full screen, then change your resolution, close the game, finally restart and change back to full screen. This worked for me.

pokeypoke, you rock! I can't believe I did not try to initiate full-screen after changing the stuff. It took a second, but it is working in the higher resolution at last. So simple, and I missed it. Thank you!!!

ALT+ENTER while you are in-game so the game will go in Window Mode then choose your resolution and hit ALT+ENTER again to go Full Mode
