I tried the 6 part windows install but the first part asks for the location of the fifth part. I tried the GOG wininstaller but i get a page not available erro. This is the first time GOG has failled for me. HOW do i installl this game? Why is this game unlike all the other games i bought ofrom gog that it won't install at the click of a button? The reason i buy here is that i am NOT a tech wizard. I poay i play....that's all i'm asking. GRRRRrrr

yamo: I tried the 6 part windows install but the first part asks for the location of the fifth part.
This means it found part 1-4 as it would check them in order...
So, is the 5th part corrupt? named oddly?
I did not dl the other 5 parts...i just "opened" the first one. Do i have to create a directory to store all 6 parts in and then run the first part? What should that file be named?

when i try the gog downloader it goes to this page that is unavailable or not supported( i use Opera) gogdownloader://neverwinter_nights_2_complete/win_installer

You have to install the GOG downloader application before you can click on that link you posted. I don't know if the downloader is incompatible with Opera, but I'd expect it to work if you have the downloader installed and running.

When you select "open" your browser saves that SINGLE file to a temporary folder and then opens it (as if you had double clicked on it)

You don't have to be a "tech wizard" to figure out that if something says "part 1 out of 5" you need to get ALL FIVE PARTS for it to work.

Here is what you should have done (don't do it now, see below):
1. Make a directory
2. Download each part to that directory. Use the default names
3. Run the installer.

Also, why are you choosing to use advanced user options like manual download when you could just use the simple and straightforward GOG downloader which does everything for you?
http://www.gog.com/downloader

Here is what you should do:
1. Install the gog downloader, once, use the "open" command.
2. Close your browser, then open it again.

After you do that you can from now on download any game you want using the gog downloader. (no need to repeat the above procedure)
