wow this ones tought, i like some if the new game mechanices but the way it deals was death is brutal.. at least hear in the early stage of the game. What's really annoying is i can never heel people once they've been knocked down. Spellcasters have heal spells but by that point have run out of magic and you're not allowed to rest anywere.

Been doing the same battle for ages, eventaully give up and wonder off into abohter part of the map.
a struggle to get into this game so far but for now i'm gonna keep having go and see if i can get somewhere.

I may have to start again and try a new party.

But how do i kill vampires? they just keep regeneration, i'm in an endless loop.

If you've made it to the second overland map with Crossroad Keep, then you have probably figured out your first question. I usually just stick to the given quests and don't stray too far from where I'm supposed to be going. That way I don't accidentally run into anything that I can't handle (such as wyverns in the east) Pay attention the levels of wandering monsters on your overland map.
With vampires, I think you just need to focus your firepower on one enemy at a time, which is typically a good strategy for regenerating opponents anyway such as trolls and slaads. If you're still having a hard time, your weaponry might be underpowered for that point in the game. Sorry I'm not recalling exactly where you'd be running into vampires in SoZ.

Well Ironfirst have me the guest ti kill some Shadow cultists, there was of three them in a tomb, with a warlock and one vampire. I killed all the others but the Vampire just wont die... just keeps heeling non stop.
I throw everything at him.. just wont die!!
