If Diamond Edition, Yes, but it is generally a bad idea, it seems to introduce bugs losing save files, while the normal game is rock solid on saving. I have never lost a save file in well over 1000 hours of playing the original game.

Hello, thanks for your answer. Yes I have the EE, It's not a problem to have offline saves only, but since I also got a Linux machine, I wanted to try to play on both computers.
