I'm curious about falling in with a small group and doing a campaign/module run, or maybe something custom. Wondering if anyone out there is hosting something up either by public IP or Hamachi/other VPN? I'd like to play with other people, and I'm not sure how I feel about a public server with tons of others. Just looking to join in something with a couple other people, I have some technical skills, but no real experience with NWN's toolset or DM tools, so if it comes down to it I could give it a shot.


I'm interested in either joining with others in running a campaign/expansion/premium module, a user made module or set of modules, or something custom made. May be interested in running further if it turns out good! Please reply if you have something in the works, or even have interest in joining it too even if you don't have something set up!

I have several modules that only work with a party. Played them years ago as PnP. I'm set up to get online, but I don't know if I am the server or if I am getting on through Evolve. I can load up the modules in 'New Internet Game', and even play with myself (no pun intended), but I'm not sure how others can play my game. If you have 'Evolve', we can form a party and play through there. I'l rather play the host, but as just a player in a small group, not as DM.

I'll PM you with my details (like time zone) and we'll talk about getting something together. To play together online, I'm pretty sure that we both have to have the same modules. I'll send you a list of what I have available. All of them are still available at Neverwinter Vault.

I'm set up with NWNCX v0.2.9 and the server searcher that is used with it. It replaces GameSpy, and is as easy to use to connect. I was able to connect to a game in progress, but the average PC level was 124 (yeah, that's one hundred twenty-four). I'd be interested if we can make the times work. Only the host needs the module. All the others need are any applicable hak files.

Making the times work is always a problem, even with a PnP group. Online is a bigger problem when working across Time Zones. I live in Oregon, so I'm in the Pacific Time Zone (PDT) That's Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) minus 8 hours. I'm usually available for play on weekends after 11:00 AM PDT. When I have to quit can be variable. My wife doesn't drive, so I may have to pick her up at work since there's no bus service for her on Sundays. I can usually play at least until 5:30 PM on Saturdays and 1:30 or 5:30 or 9:30 PM on Sundays (depends on my wife's schedule). How do these times work for you?

If the other players need the hak files, they might as well download and install the module since it usually includes the haks, music, tlk, and others.
