I was playing NW2 Enhanced on a computer that died. Bought new computer and downloaded NW2 Complete (only option I saw offered).

The download stated I would have my saved games, but that hasn't happened.

I was just starting the "final battle at the Keep" and hope to finish it.

I suspect the lost saves may be connected to having a different version of the game (Enhanced vs. Complete).

Can anyone point me to an answer or solution?

You've probably mistaken games. Only NWN1 has the Enhanced Edition. NWN2 is only available in Complete Edition. But there's one more thing. Neither of the NWN games support cloud saves, so unfortunately your saves are most likely lost. :(
