It happens during combat when I pause. Sometimes it happens after 10 minutes of playing, sometimes after 2 hours.
Music is still playing, I can move cursor but everything else freezes. I can't Alt+Tab it,or turn it off via Task Manager, and I have to reeboot my computer. There are no errors or glitches before freeze, game runs smoothly,it just suddenly stops working.

Definitely ask support.

Also, be sure your drivers are all up to date.

Redownloading and reinstalling sometimes fixes goofy errors.

This could be potentially failing hardware, too. But if it's only this title, I'd imagine that's not the issue.

That's all I can offer. Sorry. Good luck, though!
Thanks:) I have sent a message to support, hopefuly they will be able to figure it out:)

It don't have to, but this could very well be a hardware issue.
Keep an eye on your systems temperature (CPU and GPU), maybe it's overheating. Remove any dust from your fans and cooling components. If it's a laptop don't put it on soft underground, but keep all case openings free for air circulation.

Check your harddisks for errors as well as your memory banks (memtest). Both components could cause such crashes.
MemTest didn't show any errors with memory, and temperatures after about 1 hour of playing (before freezing) were(in HwINFO):
CPU:55 avg
GPU:50 avg.

I didn't have any problems like this in any other game so far...

And what is strange, freezes happens only in combat, and only when paused. When exploring, talking with NPC's,buying stuff, even in combat without pausing-game is working perfectly fine

With everything frozen except for music, this sounds like a very common audio driver issue, whereby the driver gets stuck in an infinite loop for whatever reason. You might want to update your audio drivers, and also reduce the quality in Windows. For example, if you have your format set to 24 bit/48000 Hz, change it to 16 bit/44100 Hz. Do this in control panel advanced audio settings.

You're right, that looks good and also the game only crashing when using pause speaks against faulty hardware. Hickory might be right with the audio drivers, also try disabling all EAX options in the in-game Audio settings.

I have tried method that Hickory sugested and so far it seems to work :) I've played nearly 3 hours without freeze.I will try to play longer tomorrow and see if it stays that way :)

I didn't have single freeze since yesterday,so it seems that Hickory was right about the issue :) Thanks :)

I am having this same issue except that its not only when the game is paused, its just random. The screen locks up and sound keeps playing, i can move my cursor but thats about it. When i tab out or cntr/alt/del i can get back to other windows but everything else is frozen and i cant close anything in task manager.

I tried disabling the eax option and also changed my sound to the worst possible and it still crashes. Any idea? my system is nice and cold and windows is 8xx whatever is most up to date

When you suspect a driver issue, as in this case, the thing to do is get used to rebooting your computer regularly. You would be surprised how many people never switch off or reboot, they simply use sleep, and this eventually plays havoc with drivers. Reboot, reboot, reboot.
