This game is lost and horribly bugged. I cant even load my old save to regroup. The game crashes when I go from Nethermountains to Kobold caves and you cant even progress past anywhere without the game saying Visual +++ or some shit like that.

Has anyone else experienced shit like this. I paid money for it to work on the computer win 8 and it will only work on my windows xp. Thats fuckin sad.

Edit-Something I did made the game run fine. Now the movies wont play and I can hear them but they wont show me the picture. I must not be having a good day.

Darvin: I wouldn't bother playing Ranger in NWN1 unless you're really in love with the concept. I'd recommend a Fighter/Rogue (any split) or a Fighter/Druid (1 level fighter, rest druid) to get a similar flavor. The Ranger comes across as a really haphazard mix between the Fighter, Rogue, and Druid, but is remarkably weaker than each.
uuughhh!!!

I still have nightmares about how bad the Ranger class was in NWN1...
