I believe it works through wine. But I do not own Mac so I havent tested it myself.

I was able to run the Windows version of NWN within a Wineskin on OS X and posted instructions in a blogpost here. Wineskins are WINE wrappers created using a Mac application called Wineskin Winery by doh123, which is free.

There is also a group that created an application that creates Wineskins for games for you. I haven't tried it but it is at portingkit.com
