Hi,

Is there anyway to get multiple copies of a game on GoG.

While it was free I was going to grab a second copy of NWN for my son to use but it wont let me redeem it because I already own it.

That's strange, I own a copy and it let me collect the free copy which I'm not sure what I'm going to do with (I haven't tried redeeming it yet).

Only with an additional account, e.g. your son would need their own account.
