But my NWN Diamond install does not have this file, 2ds.bif despite having uninstalled, reinstalled, and verified my game.

If that doesn't help, or if you encounter further problems, try installing the 1.69 critical rebuild patch. You can find it on neverwinternights.info.

I was in error. 2da.bif was there after reinstalling. Sorry.
