Yes possible.

But you need unique serial numbers for each copy to play together.

I don't think GoG is setup to sell you second copy, so you would have to have another GoG account to buy another copy, to get another serial number set.

OK thanks, I thought that but sent a support ticket... I hope not to have to spent more money for that.
To add to what Peter said, (as an FYI): you do not need a second copy of the game to host a dedicated server, if that's the route you were going down. I know there are packages you can download that contain a cut-down version of the game for these purposes.

I think you are just muddying the issue.

Generally people don't set up a separate dedicated server just to play co-op and it doesn't remove the need to have 2 copies of the game (two sets of serial numbers) to play coop.
Providing more information is not muddying the issue and I never said you didn't need two copies to play with another person.
