TheDangerBox: One of my other buddies bought his copy off of GOG. So our keys are the same so I can not play if he is playing, and since he is hosting the server, that is never.. Have checked spam folders and replied to the ticket roughly 3 times. Made a new ticket today, going to just wait till Monday and if I get no response I will just wait another month or two for a refund I suppose.

Green_Hilltop: Well they could also wait for you until you get the key - they're not much of buddies if they can't wait a week for you to get the key and play something else in the meantime together, like Unreal Tournament or any other multiplayer game.

If I had my friends who wouldn't wait a week until I got my key, then I probably wouldn't call them my 'friends' anymore, if we all had decided we'd play together. Your friend who hosts the server didn't get his key yet either? The only reasons I could think of why they couldn't wait is if you're all on holidays and after few days you wouldn't be able to play at all again for months or something, and even then it'd be nice to wait at least three or four days until the business days started again and play something else together in the meantime.

So that's my good intentioned advice - think of it the other way around too, would you wait with your friends until your friend got their key or would you start playing without him/her right away, leaving them out? I don't think doing that is a mark of a true friend (friends in this case).

Anyway, I hope they get your key quick, like someone else said it usually doesn't take this long and should automate it somehow, since NWN2 is, unless I'm mistaken.
Thanks for your reply but to be fair there is a large group of us playing, and it been a lot longer than a week. So your advice while appreciated is null and void. It was not something that we decided to start together all the sudden, I wanted to join in and have been dealing with this bull for nearly 3 weeks. I will never purchase from GOG again, no reason I should have to wait 3 weeks just to play a game I purchased.

I can't say I disagree. My GOG experiences have always been awesome, but this seems obscene. Try requesting a refund. I imagine that will spark tech support's help.

By the way, just so you know what you're looking for, the email will look like this:

Re: Multiplayer key request

Please extract the attachment and replace the nwncdkey.ini file in your Neverwinter Nights Diamond game folder (C:\GOG Games\Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition\ by default).

Next, please go to your My Account page and find the "premium modules re-installer", under the Neverwinter Nights additional content. Download this file and install it. The modules will now be adapted to the new CD keys.
