Hello,

i just reinstalled NWN2 and i had this problem before but do not remember how i solved it back then.
Here are my pc`s specs.

i7 2600 quad core
GB Z68MX-UD2H-B3
AMD RADEON HD 6970

My problem is a game freeze and lock of the pc with weird noises, too. I have to cut the power supply after that for a restart. The crashes seem to happen in inside areas only. I played some minutes on bgtscc without problems until i entered an inside area.
I recently dusted the pc off. Overheating should not be the issue. I tried with lowest video settings, all details disabled but still crashing.
Might be a conflict with catalyst but i can`t see any.

have you tried turning on v-sync?

Did try it. Problem persists. It seems to crash as soon as i enter a building and do casting. I did try a solo module, too and the same thing. So it`s likely not a problem of bgtsc (persistent world).

I think i solved it by forcing all options of catalyst on the game. seems stable now. Thanks anyway!

The crashdowns have become less frequent but still unbearable. Please help!

My game is not crashing any more.. read in topic about info.

P.S
You can force Logof in windows or call taskbar no need to kill the PC when game crashes.
