So I purchased NWN Diamond edition seeing as while I already had the game, all the expansions as well as having purchased all of the Bioware mods I figured it would be so much easier to just have one simple file to download and install onto my new laptop rather than go through numerous disks, hunt down my key codes and then go through the joy of updating. Unfortunately I've already hit a snag.
First of all, I often have to attempt to start NWN multiple times before I can actually play it, it will usually crash if I click on the screen while it's going through the pregame screens (you know, the "Bioware" and "Licenses Product of Wizards of the Coast" and all that). This is particularly annoying but no so much as to kill any and all enjoyment of the game.
Second is the more annoying aspect of it. Whenever I create a character I am unable to adjust their skin tones, every time I do it goes to the pitch black skin and hair and whatnot. Anyone else having that problem because I'm kind of getting irritated with this aspect of the game. If so, how do you guys solve it?
I'm running this game on Windows Vista (which might be the source of the problem in and of itself) and have already tried running the game in numerous different compatibility modes in an attempt to fix the issue. I've run the game using lower graphic modes. My 3D card is an ATI Radeon HD 3200 and the drivers are up to date. Any help would be appreciated.
