I recently bought a new computer and got Never Winter Nights Complete about 8-10 days ago. Played 3 or 4 times "Mask of the Betrayer". I'm the only person using this computer. I last played a couple of nights ago, saved the game under Barrow 2 (my second save).

The next morning when I turned my computer on, the above message appeared. And they weren't kidding. If I try to open Galaxy, I get that message each time. Anyone ever hear of something like this, or have an idea about a fix?

Go to the following folder: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\lock-files\

"ProgramData" is normally a hidden folder, so open File Explorer and type that path into the address bar then press ENTER. That should take you directly to the folder.

In that folder, delete any files that end in ".lock".

Hopefully that should get it working again.
