So as the title states, my game crashes immidietly on start up. I get a runtime error program E:\goggalaxy\nwndiamond\nwmain.exe

Could you share a little of your PC info (OS, RAM etc...)
Try installing:

- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=5555)

- DirectX 9.0c (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=34429)

If that doesn't work, try running the game in Windows XP compatibility mode (right-clicking the shortcut, properties then on compatibility tab).
