Okay, I am playing Storm of Zehir and am unable to equip an off-hand weapon into the slot. Shields equip just fine, but I can't equip a weapon. I have tried drag and drop with no success. As far as I know, I have the fully-patched version and just did a file verification with GOG. I have not tried it with other NWN2 campaigns to see what happens.

What weapons are you trying to equip and what is your character race? Make sure you equip one handed weapons in both slots. There are also some wielding restrictions for different races. Check this article: https://nwn2.fandom.com/wiki/Weapon_size.

Thanks for responding so quickly! It's an Aasimar Ranger. I've tried equipping short swords in both hands, and it hasn't worked. I read on a very old forum that there was an interface problem, but I had hoped it was patched.
Okay, I was able to do it by using the touchpad on my laptop. It looks like that fixes the problem.
