I think something went wrong. On the way to highcliff i get a "something happend on your way'. A battle started and elanee helped. But after the battle she just joined and I had to go to the world map and then to highcliff. No conversation, nothing. That felled weird so I looked it up and she is supposed to talk to me and take me to a druids place???

Does this happen a lot of should I revert to a previous safe in case it fucks something important up later?

It sounds like a bug, try reloading to a previous save like you said and see if that will fix it.
