GOG's NWN2 version comes with the 1.23 fully patched. Is there a way to downpatch the game to 1.22?

The only reason I want to downpatch is because the camera using WASD was perfectly playable in 1.22. Also, am I missing out on any game breaking fixes if I downpatch to 1.22?

You can read the complete list of changes made by patch 1.23 in patch_notes_v123.rtf in your game directory.
It never made any changes to the camera.

I play predominately in character mode, & 2 things that work for me is if you use W for walking forward & holding down the left mouse button for turning. Release the mouse button before you release the W Key.
And I turn off camera follows when turning in place ( under character mode )
