I'm thinking of purchasing two copies of Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition during the current sale and running the campaigns co-op with a friend.

My question is, does the Enhanced Edition support LAN as a connection method?

Yes, it fully supports both LAN and direct connect by IP. :)
